Tour Description
Step inside the horse stable at Vorsabær 2 for a warm and personal introduction to the Icelandic horse. Meet the horses up close, pet them, and take photos while learning about life with these remarkable animals.
You will watch a short English-language film about the Icelandic horse, its history, and the characteristics that make the breed unique. Your hosts will also share a brief introduction to the history of Vorsabær 2.
The visit continues in the indoor riding hall, where you will have the opportunity to sit on an Icelandic horse and have photos taken of you on horseback. Afterward, you will help groom the horse - a calm, hands-on way to complete your visit.
