Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to all accommodation and experiences operated by Björn Jónsson, whether booked directly through vors.is or via third-party platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Bókun, Viator, or other online travel agencies and resellers.

1. General

All bookings are paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellation terms apply regardless of the booking channel, unless platform-specific rules override this policy.

2. Free Cancellation

  • Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of an experience.

  • Free cancellation is available up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time of the accommodation stay.

3. Late Cancellations

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time of an experience are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled start time of an accommodation stay are non-refundable.

  • Partial refunds are not offered.

4. No-Shows

  • Failure to arrive or participate without prior cancellation ("no-show") is non-refundable.

5. Operator-Initiated Cancellations

If Björn Jónsson cancels a booking due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Safety concerns

  • Force majeure events

A full refund will be issued using the original payment method.

6. Changes to Bookings

  • Guests may request changes to a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Approved changes are free of charge.

  • Changes are subject to availability.

7. Refund Method

All refunds, where applicable, are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or booking platform.
