This experience takes place in our indoor riding hall at Vorsabær II, a family-run Icelandic horse breeding farm in South Iceland. The ride is short and fully guided, with the horse led at all times by a member of our team.

After the ride, there is time to meet the horses in the stable and learn a little about farm life and the Icelandic horse. This is a calm, controlled introduction designed for comfort and confidence.

Tour Description

Ride in Riding Hall is designed for guests who want a gentle introduction rather than an outdoor trail ride. It is especially suitable for young children (ages 2+) and anyone who prefers a short, supervised experience in a sheltered setting.

Each ride lasts approximately 10 minutes. The horse is led throughout, and the pace is slow and steady. Helmets are mandatory and provided.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.

Why Ride at Vorsabær II

Vorsabær II is a working Icelandic horse breeding farm in South Iceland, not a high-volume riding operation. Horses are bred, raised, and trained on the farm, and guest experiences take place alongside daily farm life rather than in a commercial riding center.
